Domaine de l'Hortus Le Loup dans Bergerie Rouge 2020

The south of France conjures up images of long summer days and abundant sunshine. There's a slower pace of life with longer evenings around the table. The wines, too, are generous, tending toward bolder, riper fruit. What a surprise it was to find this more restrained little gem.

It's a blend of 80% grenache and 20% syrah grown in a unique cool-climate pocket amongst the cliffs of Pic Saint-Loup. It's bright, fresh, and just juicy enough to enjoy with a chill. Take this to your next picnic or barbeque—it's great with anything grilled.
