Intense, full bodied and perfect with rich seafood or roast chicken. Aromas of red apple exude but the nutty savoury characters of a carefully oxidatively aged white are enhanced by a mineral salinity.
The lower rating is largely due to a shorter finish than I would have hoped for. Overall a massively underrated wine from an underrated region.
