IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS
Drawing upon older vines up to 105 years in the ground, this Crianza offers a degree of concentration that demands attention. A whiff of lovely posh French oak on the nose is well-judged and by no means over-bearing, leading onto layers of ripe black fruit with savoury notes, spice rack, herbs and a hint of nutmeg – intriguing and inviting.
Aged for 14 months in 225 and 300lt. French (90%) and American (10%) oak barrels, this is exactly what people want and expect from Ribera del Duero – power, concentration and a sensuous elegance.
