Chateau Leret - Reserve Malbec

Cahors region French wine made of 90% Malbec+10% Merlot grapes with no barrel aging. Very dark rubi red color. Fairly strong, not complex aromas of ripe red fruits, plum, some spices, licorice and, lately, smoke.

Medium-bodied (13.0%), not fully balanced wine with robust acidity, fair alcohol and light, smooth tannins, all making a dry, not savory, slightly bitter and non-elegant finish.
