Chateau de Beauregard Fleurie Poncie 2016

The château de Beauregard Fleurie is among the most structured of the Appellation, reminding the Moulin à Vent style. It reveals floral aromas (iris, rose petal and violet), dry hay, red fruits (strawberry, blackcurrant). The mouth is velvety and structured.

Fine and floral Beaujolais with hints of Burgundian flavours in the black-cherry spectrum. From vines planted in 1950s relatively high up with deep root systems.

A lighter-coloured Beaujolais that’s really fine, sappy and elegant, with a leafy green edge to the pure, silky, floral cherry fruit. Such finesse and purity. Delicate and fine with a sapid, autumnal finish and nice acidity.
