This is immediately off-putting with the overwhelming sweetness one typically finds with highly-sweetened flavored whiskeys — not particularly evident as toffee but rather a vanilla-heavy brown sugar and caramel character that dominates the aroma completely. The palate is even more overblown, a sugar bomb that coats the mouth, offering just a hint of nuttiness amidst all the saccharine funk.
NOSE: big and complex with layers of caramel, vanilla, and sweet honey
PALATE: full bodied golden caramel flavor combined with a bitter note of nutty walnut
FINISH: a sweet reminder of lingering burnt sugar and warmth

Not sure who wrote the description but they probably think you can only drink whiskey neat and anything else is heresy. The fact of the matter is that, while sweet, the whiskey itself is very pleasant when drank, the colder the better. I get a little of the toffee flavor, more vanilla, and a light walnut. I've shared this with multiple people, who all really enjoyed the flavor an immediately asked the maker and if it was available nearby. This is a pleasant sipper, and cant wait until my order comes in so I can try an old fashioned with it.

The lady I spoke to when ordering said ship Tuesday When I called Friday still not shipped. Verionica said would not ship till Monday that’s 8 days after order. She got it delivered monday very good c/s Over all very disappointing but ended up great for my wigs birthday which was the goal
