From a small sub-region of Lisboa, this stylish, structured wine is firm and tannic. It has plenty of ripe berry fruit to balance the tannins as well as acidity that cuts through the richness of the wine. An unusual set of grape varieties with Castelão, Camarate, Tinta Miúda and even Preto Martinho gives a classic profile, full and smooth, with discreet fruit, good acidity, soft tannins and a juicy finish.
Smells ethereal, reminiscent of eucalyptus, mint and Mediterranean herbs. The fruit of plums and blackberries is not neglected. Long panning and thinking is superfluous. Wonderfully juicy on the palate, with pleasant acidity and powerful tannins.
