The 2010 Caiarossa opens with a rich and compelling bouquet, with deep layers of dark fruit, spice and chocolate. A full-bodied red with so much ripe berry and plum fruit that it verges on jammy, yet it turns out velvety and delicious. The tannic structure of the blends is round and velvety, emphasizing the delicacy and finesse of the vintage.
