The wines of Portugal are just starting their upward trajectory and it would be wise to jump on board before the prices follow suite in ascension. From the Douro, and composed of the native grapes Rabigato, Malvasia fina, Codega do Larinho and Gouveio, the wine is steely and refreshing.
Chalky minerals awaken the tongue and aromas of citrus, pineapple, poached pears, Meyer lemon and bitter honey are duplicated on the palate.
