Appellation Saint Emilion Controlee. Since 1725, Barton & Guestier has been committed to making top quality wines in the tradition of its founder Thomas Barton. Merlot (75%), Cabernet Franc (25%). Right bank of the Dordogne river, to the east of Bordeaux. A full seductive wine with rich, pleasing aromas of raspberries and spice, and smooth, lingering finish. Grilled or toasted meats, poultry, game and cheeses. Alc. 13% by vol. Product of France.

Intense ruby red colour. Fruit driven nose, with intese plum and blackberry aromas. Well balanced wine, with velvety tannins, and a long fruity finish. Grilled or roasted meats, poultry, game, cheese. Best served at 16-18%C.

Very fruity aroma of cherries and raspberries is also slightly earthy. This is a succulent wine with soft smooth tannins and a long and delicate finish.
