Axia [Xinomavro/Syrah], Alpha Estate 2017

This wine has been produced using the local Xinomavro grape blended with Syrah in the Protected Geographical Indication region of Florina at an altitude of 670 metres. The north-facing high-altitude vineyard brings freshness and crisp fruit flavours of black cherry, plum and spicy notes of black pepper to the wine balanced by powerful structure and finesse. One might say, Alpha Estate’s Axia is the embodiment of the true character of the region, a pioneering spirit built from youthful enthusiasm.

Best enjoyed in a convivial atmosphere and with char-grilled and roasted meats and vegetables.
