Alexander Valley Vineyards Dry Rose Of Sangiovese 2017 |
This Rose is recognized by critics and wine lovers as one of the best in the country, with a bright hue that alludes to the rich flavors. This vintage is a lighter pink color with a salmontinge. Aromas of guava, strawberry, watermelon, raspberry and mint explode out of the glass. The flavors of watermelon, strawberry, peach, berry and a hint of minerality keep youcoming back for another sip. The 2016 is a medium bodied Rose with crisp acidity, a dry finish and a very long aftertaste. The vintage is sure to be a hit in warm weather!
Food Pairing
Grilled fish, shrimp or chicken tacos, salads with lemon vinaigrette or a Thai inspired curry with coconut milk, lime and mint. For a unique pairing try it with a spicy gumbo.

Best Rose of the year!
I absolutely love this rose and I also belong to the Alexander Valley Vineyards wine club. They were sold out of this rose when I tried to buy more for the holidays so I managed to find a case at Wine Chateau. I ordered the case and Wine Chateau shipped it promptly and I received it very quickly. I’m very satisfied with their service. I know my Thanksgiving guests will be as pleased with this wine asI am!!!
