Aerena Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

In the glass it is a sparkling clear medium ruby color. The nose is loads of red fruit, cherry and raspberry, with mint, chocolate and pencil shavings. On the palate it is rich, with a medium plus body and medium acidity, and a moderate amount of complexity.

There are flavors of red cherry, red currant, minerality, tobacco and licorice. The moderate dusty tannins last quite a while in the long finish.  A big bowl of beef stew would go nicely with a glass.  89 pts
