Lime, melon and pear flavors have a fresh green edge, with notes of lemongrass and parsley that linger on the juicy finish.

Winemaker Notes

Pale straw with a slight green hue. Lovely refreshing green capsicum and ripe gooseberry aromas, with a herbal thread. Smooth textured with the vitality of flavor that New Zealand is famous for, followed by an array of dry, crisp & clean mineral flavors that build. Offers great texture, balance and depth.
Wine Review: This slightly cloudy pale straw Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand open with a lime and peach pit bouquet with a hint of petrol. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty lime with notes of minerality and hints of peach, white pepper and a touch of Honeydew melon. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc is food friendly and versatile. It will pair with many seafood dishes. I would choose grilled swordfish skewers. Enjoy
FOOD MATCH: A wine that speaks of the sea – fresh oysters or pan-fried fish and waves crashing on the beach.

Mediocre

This New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc was below my lowest standard. The price was very attractive, but the quality of the wine was not. It has an unpleasant taste, not to the level of a Whitehaven as an example.
