The cooler growing region of Carneros allows the more nuanced aromas of Merlot to shine. Carneros Merlot is full of floral perfume, with hints of sweet dried herb. Their smooth and soft texture blends perfectly with the more robust Oak Knoll Merlot lots. From these vineyards the Merlot shows vibrant flavors, dense color, and supple texture. Each vineyard block is made separately, giving it the care and attention needed to reach its full expression. Together, the lots combine beautifully.
