Drank Matoxa and Sprite in Greece, only brandy that mixes with Sprite, tried 7UP, Gringerale but all taste bad, only Sprite did thee trick. Women love the taste. There no drink i can compare it to for flavor. Big saler in Greece. Last time i had it i time traveled back to my time in Greece.

This was the first time I have enjoyed Metaxa in over twenty years. When I lived in Europe it was a staple in my bar after I first discovered it on an unforgettable trip to the Greek isles. I was so pleased to find it at Wine Chateau where I have also found many of the other speciality beverages from Europe I have been missing in Wyoming. The first sip of Metaxa transported me back to the isle of Crete where we enjoyed a glass every evening after fantastic dinners overlooking the Mediterranean sea at sunset. It's very, very smooth compared to other brandies.I heard the term "good legs" for the first time in reference to Metaxa after swirling it in a sniffer and observing the slow downward flow of that nectar hugging the glass. This first bottle won't survive the holidays, but I know where to order more thanks to Wine Chateau!
